Two Lakeview women were arrested and charged with property theft from an elderly woman, according to Nassau County Police Department.
According to a detective in the 7th Squad, Kiondra Blocks-Basso, 33, on Woodfield Road deposited two counterfeit checks in his Capital One Bank account on August 17. The check was for a 76-year-old woman whose Bulllocks-Bassoo worked as a home health assistant.
On August 5, Stephanie Fletcher, 36, at the same address, used the victim’s debit card to make two fraudulent transactions at a target store at 500 West Sunrise Hwy. At Valley Stream, police said.
